Kurjen luiden löytöpaikka soistuneen järven rantametsässä keväällä 2008. Jo edellisen kesän loppuvaiheessa kurjen sulat olivat löytyneet järven vastarannalta, missä kurki oli mahdollisesti joutunut ilveksen saaliiksi. Kallon pituus on 168 mm. Myöhemmin rantametsästä löytyi toisenkin kurjen jäänteitä, mm. alanokka. Luut on piirretty luonnolliseen kokoon. Sääksmäki 1.5. 2008.
The Common Crane's grave. The bones were found in the spring 2008 from the forest near by the fen. The previous summer the Common Crane's feathers were found from the opposite side of the fen where it had probably fallen into a prey of an Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx). The length of the skull is 168 mm. Later on another Common Cranes' remains were found from the forest, e.g. lower mandible. The bones are painted in actual size. May 1st 2008.
